Reynold’s HI5 Bottle Redemption in Līhu‘e to Relocate to Ahukini Road

LĪHU‘E – After operating for 38 years in Nāwiliwili Harbor, Reynold’s Recycling Inc. will be relocating to the Kaua‘i Resource Center, located on Ahukini Road in Līhu‘e starting April 4.

The HI5 Redemption Center will be open to the public every day except Wednesdays and Sundays. Operating hours will remain the same as its Nāwiliwili site, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed for lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m.

All current Nāwiliwili staff including manager Kenneth Ramos will be relocated to the new location.

“On March 30, our Nāwiliwili Harbor location will close for business at 5 p.m. for the last time, and we will reopen on April 4 at the new Kaua‘i Resource Center location. We are excited to be able to reopen the Kaua‘i Resource Center with the strong support and hard work of all the staff of the Kaua‘i Solid Waste Division,” said Terry Telfer, President of Reynold’s Recycling. “We look forward to welcoming current and new customers to a bright and newly-refreshed location. We hope to continue to enjoy the patronage that has enabled us to serve the people of Kaua‘i from this new location for many years to come.”

The certified redemption center accepts all HI5 products and also will have a buy-back for aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel scrap metals. Reynold’s other location in Kapahi on 5675 Kawaihau Rd, will continue to operate on Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed for lunch from noon to 1:30 pm.

Reynold’s Recycling is celebrating 38 years as “Your Neighborhood Recycler,” and is locally owned and operated, and is working to preserve and protect Hawai‘i’s natural beauty.
